The CIC-332 employs the latest technology combining an improved user interface with added speed and longevity. Older technologies like the White Systems CIB (supported from 1981 through 1993) and the White Systems IPC (supported from 1993 through 2001) lack the flexibility and added features of the CIC-332. In addition, the older CIB and IPC technology has a limited life because of replacement parts availability.

The plug-compatible upgrade replaces up to four CIBs or one IPC and installs quickly without significant system or carousel downtime. Your system gains the benefit of a high performance 32-bit processor, which is 8 times faster than the older technology. Faster message processing speed and response time result in carousel pod throughput enhancement at peak order picking periods.

Unlike older controllers, the CIC-332's built-in display and keypad provide instant configuration, message monitoring and diagnostics without special software, cables, or hand held devices. The CIC-332 is totally compatible with all software operating existing CIB and IPC systems so software changes during installation are not needed.
