Security

Product is stored fully enclosed in the carousel. When not in use, carousel access doors can be locked. In addition, options such as automated single access doors, automated mini-doors, magnetic strip swipe card, and biometric security devices may be added to achieve the highest level of storage security.

Productivity

White Vertical Carousels bring stored product to the operator instead of requiring the operator to move to the product. They feature an ergonomically designed work area to eliminate bending, stretching, and climbing. Optional counter mounted light bars and ten character displays direct the operator to the product location quickly and efficiently.

Safety

The 2200-Series Vertical Carousel is ETL listed. Its main access opening is equipped with a touch bar and infrared photo eyes to prevent accidental carrier movement during picking and storing. Service access panels are electrically interlocked to prevent carousel activation when they are open. A spring-set motor brake stops and prevents carrier movement during power interruptions. An optional emergency crank (using a cordless hand drill) provides access to stored products in the event of a power failure.

Standard Features

Frame: Bolt-together modular design. Frame components can be disassembled for limited clearance installations. Built-in load distribution base frame members.

Pans: Single tier or Multifunctional with divider slots and bolted shelf second tier.

Main opening: 20 inch high opening at front of unit. Manually operated single sliding door with key lock latch.

Counter: Mounted below main opening at a height of 40 inches from floor (34 inches for ADA units). Brushed stainless steel finish.

Service opening: Two lockable access panels below counter 

Controller: Externally mounted unit located above main opening. Enclosure houses optional down lights, operator interface terminal, and has hinged, locking cover.

Operator interface terminal: Centrally mounted keypad with manual E-stop, enable, and jog buttons.

Safeties: Lockable disconnect switch, E-stop button, touch bar, infrared photo eyes, access panel interlock switches, and motor overload.

Drive motor: 1.5 hp continuous duty AC gear motor with integral spring-set brake.

Conveyor mechanism: Heavy duty scissor arm assemblies. Fully enclosed stabilizer track. Single piece drive shaft. Load chain safety factor: 7. Permanently lubricated idle and drive sprocket bearings.

Finish: Powder coat pearl gray exterior with powder coat white pans. Special colors available.
